Field guide
A pocket book for a walking club. Twelve plates, one map, and no photographs.
The club wanted a guide that could live in a coat pocket. Each plate is one walk, set in the same column, with the place name in the margin.
The only color is a disc on the title page. Inside, the ink is charcoal.
Twelve plates. One red.
Seal is a one-person editorial studio. The home moves through the practice, the process, and three pieces of work. Headlines are short Traditional Chinese, set vertically. The body stays horizontal.
Open a piece to read it, or send a note from the contact form. The note stays in the browser. Scaffold a copy with the create command below, then replace the studio copy in lib/content.ts.

## Quick start
### Option A — create-next-app

### Option B — create-tawny CLI

Then:

Open [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000). A piece lives at `/work/field-guide`.
## Customize these files
| File | What to change |

Keep vertical headlines at eight characters or fewer so they still read on a phone, where they switch to horizontal.
